To help make the cleaning process as smooth as possible there are a few steps that you can take before we arrive to ensure the most efficient cleaning:
Our expert teams bring all of the tools and equipment that we need to provide you with the highest quality cleaning service. However, we ask that you keep pets and children away from the cleaning areas as our technicians will be working with high-powered machinery.
Until carpets are completely dry, please use extreme caution so that you do not slip or fall. Do not remove plastic or foam pieces that have been placed under your furniture until carpet is completely dry. Please follow technicians instructions on humidity control to facilitate the quickest drying times possible.
The first thing to do in any emergency situation is to make sure that everyone is safe and not in immediate danger. If you are in danger or trapped from rising floodwaters you should call 911 immediately. The next step is to notify your insurance company of your situation so they can begin the claims process. Then you contact your water damage restoration company of choice to dispatch a crew to your location.
You get to choose which company you use. There are many quality contractors in preferred vendor programs and many who are not in them. Your job is to check reviews and ask for referrals to find a contractor who will provide a quality service.
Yes. We have extensive experience dealing with insurance adjusters in water damage situations. We document every step of the process with pictures, notes, emails, text messages, phone calls, and moisture readings. All of this information is communicated daily with you and your insurance adjuster. This communication and documentation is very important in getting your claim handled quickly and efficiently.
We offer free inspections and estimates. We ask for an initial equipment deposit on the first day of service. If we are working on a job that is covered by your insurance, we will work with your insurance company and ask for direct payment from them. If you are paying out of pocket, we will require payment upon completion of the job. We use Xactimate Estimating Software which is the industry standard estimating software. This is the same program that most insurance companies will use. This third party estimating software ensures that things run smoothly for all parties.
We dispatch immediately when you call. Response times will vary slightly depending on your location and traffic. Our goal is to be there within 90 minutes of your initial call.
The industry standard drying time is 3-5 days. How long has the water been there? How much water is there? What type of flooring? These and other variables can all affect the drying time. Each job is unique but we always strive to get your structure dry as fast as possible.
We use moisture meters and thermal imaging cameras to check every inch of the affected area. We create a dry standard for each job based on readings from unaffected materials. We monitor the moisture levels daily to make sure everything is progressing towards the dry standard. We continue running the drying equipment until we reach the dry standard in all areas of the structure.
That will depend on a number of variables. We can evaluate that and help you make a decision during the inspection process.
